If you've already read our Buyers home page, you know that rule number one in finding the best house you can afford is to enlist the help of a special kind of agent: one that not only regularly previews many, many houses a week, but also one that truly knows how to really get to know what you are looking for in a house. To be useful for most buyers, that knowledge has to extend beyond number of bedrooms, architectural style and neighborhoods. It should also include some understanding of functional priorities, design likes and dislikes, layout and special preferences. We have a tool like nothing else on the market that helps us learn all these things and more about our clients, and it makes us unbelievably effective on their behalf. Once you have a rough idea of the kind of house you'd be interested in, including price range and areas of interest, you're ready to take our buyers assessment.

The self-administered survey that follows is designed to capture a myriad of factors that are typically encountered while viewing homes for sale. Many of these factors are things that few will have thought about-until prompted. We think it is a valuable service to our clients to prompt these issues before showing houses because it can save you tons of time and maximize our effectiveness.

As you complete the assessment, don't worry if the forthcoming scales don't perfectly capture your feelings. The assessment is simply used as a tool to pinpoint various areas for further discussion. Also, we understand that what you want and need can change. Once we show you a few homes and we get to know each other better, things will crystallize even further in a quicker manner that we think serves your needs in a way that's better than what others currently offer.
